2008 Dates:
Regular Camp Day (Monday-Friday): 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Your child will love Day Camp Sunshine’s unique mix of fun and games! Year after year, many children return to have fun, hang out with their friends, and be challenged by our summer camp program. We strive to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of all campers. Through daily Bible lessons and song time, we provide opportunities to learn more about God and experience His love. Through group games and activities, we create an environment that fosters character development and growth. A staff of dedicated and responsible Christians, consisting of teachers, college students and mature high school students is carefully chosen to carry out our philosophy of camping. Our staff is part of what makes our camp so special. The friendships formed between camp staff and campers are genuine and lasting. Campers want to return and continue the friendships formed at Day Camp Sunshine.
DAY CAMP SUNSHINE is in the process of upgrading our software for the ability to apply for camp employment on-line. We will be rolling out the new web service in late February!

NOTE TO PARENTS: We care about the overall health and safety of your child. Children are under the supervision of trained counselors at all times. Counselors are trained in camp programming, child development, and emergency procedures. All counselors must go through a screening process, which includes reference and background checks. Campers are put into groups according to grade and gender. Two staff members work with each group, and the ratio of counselors to campers is approximately 1:8. We have space for a limited number of children in each group. The Children’s Camp will have two field trips throughout the summer. The Teen Camp has weekly field trips. Field trips are included in the week’s tuition, but some teen trips may have an additional cost. Signed permission slips must be handed into the Camp Office the day before the trip. On Trip Days all campers must wear Camp T-shirts (included in Camp Tuition) and bring their own lunch, even if not participating in the trip. Supervision and a planned program will be offered to campers remaining at camp. All campers are transported by a commercial bus company. Day Camp Sunshine is certified by the State of New Jersey and undergoes inspections by the Local and State Officials to ensure compliance with State and Local guidelines. Lifeguards are on duty during all swimming and water activities. Certified First Aid and CPR personnel are on duty throughout the day. Day Camp Sunshine establishes agreements with nearby medical clinics to handle minor injuries (with parents consent), and the Liberty Corner First Aid Squad, located across the street, is called for serious injuries. We are also a member in good standing with Christian Camp and Conference Association.
